A little book journal by Eric Thompson.
When I finish a book, I design a new cover and write a little about it.

Trippy, meandering, profound story grounded by a tight horror/mystery plot. Ubik keeps you thinking the puzzle pieces will come together with just one more revelation, only to have Dick scatter all the pieces by flipping the table (multiple times) by the end. Read Ubik. Safe when used as directed.
I wanted to do a super intricate WD-40 style label for the cover, similar to the Japanese version of the over (first one on this list), but having it be the full cover. My strict time limit for these hit, so instead, I picked my favorite typeface of the ones I was experimenting with (Climate Crisis), flattened, then dragged the vector points. Played with a few color combos, but this one fit best, I think. I learned how to turn type into vectors in Figma for this one.
